Madison Plucknett is an actor and director who received classical training at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City, graduating in 2017. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Theater from Transylvania University in 2019. Since then, Madison has worked professionally in short films, animated series, commercials, and live theatre.

Her recent credits include playing Isabella in Measure for Measure and directing The Taming of the Shrew for the Appalachian Shakespeare Center. Madison is passionate about Shakespeare, improv, sketch comedy, and character work—especially when it comes to vocal choices and finding the weird, wonderful heart of a role. She believes in bold choices, big laughs, and the magic of a well-timed beat.
